Isansys is a data controller in respect of personal information that we process in connection with our business. 

What Information Do We Collect About You?

Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect some (or all) of the following personal (and non-personal) information:

  • Business or Company name and address
  • Financial information including bank details, credit/debit card, billing and delivery addresses

Our website does not use Cookies to collect personal information, however the Media Centre area of our site is provided by a third-party company “MyNewsDesk” which does use Cookies to collect information.  You can access the MyNewsDesk Privacy and Cookies Policies here or via our main website, and we would advise that you check them before visiting our Media Centre. 

How Do We Use Your Information?

All personal information we collect is processed and stored securely, for no longer than is necessary and only for the reason(s) for which it was first collected.  We always ensure that we comply with our obligations and safeguard your rights in compliance with GDPR.

Our use of your personal information will always have a lawful basis, we will only process it if it meets at least one of the following purposes:

  • If you have consented to us doing so;
  • To perform the contract we have entered into with you i.e. for the provision of goods and/or services to you (including those provided or offered free-of-charge) by us.  Please note that we cannot enter into a contract with you without your personal information;
  • If we need it to comply with a legal obligation;
  • If we have a legitimate interest which is not overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.  Such legitimate interests will be the provision of services by us, or administrative or operational processes within Isansys Lifecare Ltd and direct Marketing.

Marketing

We may use your personal information to inform you about our latest news, products, services and upcoming events.  Electronic direct marketing will only be sent where you have given your consent to receive it.  We will not send you any unsolicited marketing or spam and will take all reasonable steps to ensure that we fully protect your rights and comply with our obligations under the GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.

Do We Share Your Information?

We may share your personal information with our subsidiaries to process it for both the purposes of intra-office administration or performance of a contract with you.

Please note that we may disclose personal information if we are required to do so by law, or if we reasonably believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with judicial or regulatory proceedings, a court order or other legal process.

In the event that our business or any part of it is sold or integrated with another business, your details will be disclosed to our advisers and those of any prospective purchaser and will be passed to the new owners of the business.

How and Where Do We Store Your Information?

In line with the purposes stated above, some of your information may be stored outside of the European Economic Area (“the EEA”) (The EEA consists of all EU member states, plus Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein).  By submitting information to our website, via email, by phone or any other means of electronic or personal communication, you are deemed to accept and agree to this.  If we do store data outside the EEA, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated as safely and securely as it would be within the UK and under the GDPR.

How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We do not keep your personal information for any longer than is necessary, nor beyond the reason(s) for which it was first collected. 

Where you are a customer, we will keep your information for the length of any contractual relationship you have with us and after that for a period of 12 months.

Where you are a prospective customer and you have expressly consented to us contacting you, we will only retain your data in the following circumstances:

(a) until you unsubscribe from our communications; or, if you have not unsubscribed,

(b) while you interact with us and our content; or

(c) for 12 months from when you last interacted with us or our content.

We will retain your data for a short time beyond the specified retention period, to allow for information to be reviewed and any deletion to take place.

Access – You have the right of access to the personal information we hold about you.  Commonly referred to as a ‘Data Subject Request).

You have the right to ask for a copy of any of your personal data held by us (where such data is held).  We will not charge an administration fee for considering and/or complying with any Data requests we receive from you, unless the request is deemed to be unnecessary or excessive in nature.

Rectification – You have a right to rectification of inaccurate personal information and to update incomplete personal information.
